Are Dobermans popular in the Middle East?

Dobermans were first bred by a tax collector, Karl Friedrich Louis Dobermann, in Germany around 1890. The reason why the Doberman breed has the features that we know and appreciate today, such as its intelligence, alertness and ferocity, is because Karl Friedrich Louis Dobermann needed a guardian to protect him while on duty.
